Job Description

We are a company incorporated in Singapore with regional offices and projects. The company provides computer simulation services in the Built Environment, Construction, Manufacturing industries. We are seeking a highly motivated CFD Engineer to take on exciting and technically demanding projects in the field of advanced engineering.

(Singapore -Central)

Responsibilities:

  • To use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software in building performance simulation for applications such as natural ventilation, wind-driven rain, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation and air pollutant dispersion modelling etc.
  • To prepare 3D model, simulation set-up as well as post-process as part of the CFD analysis process.
  • To liaise with clients to understand simulation requirements and deliverables.
  • To perform technical research, gather information and develop appropriate simulation methodology.
  • To prepare technical reports for presentation to clients, fellow team members, etc.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Building Science or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of building physics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer and engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years experience with commercial CFD software (Star-CCM+, Open FOAM or equivalent)
  • Prefer to have a good skill in excel and report writing & preparation.
  • Good communicate skills and able to lead presentation.
  • Team player and willing to learn new things together.
  • Candidates with prior relevant experience will be considered for a senior position.
