Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Leader to join EY FAAS team to help drive growth and manage delivery teams, bring subject matter expertise in Treasury and Commodities domain.

The Leader should be experienced to manage a portfolio of clients, lead client proposals and be involved in large treasury client's delivery and be

responsible for the timeliness and quality of the work as per EY Global Standards for our FAAS team. While the Leader will be based out of our Gurugram or Bengaluru offices, the individual will be responsible for supporting EY practices and clients across the Global Market. Also, the leader may be required to travel to other countries (short-term) for executing the client engagements.

Essential Functionsof the job

Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provides advisory services including accounting and regulatory support for accounting change and special matters, accounting processes and controls support. Special matters include TAAG & Treasury and Commodities solutions. Treasury and Commodities is a niche skill requiring specific experiences in the domain.

Within EY FAAS practice, the Treasury and Commodities expert will build and develop client relationship with our regional stakeholders. We are part of an integrated global network of professionals who develop, design and optimise client service business processes for efficiency and high performance. We leverage and improve various frameworks, methodologies, solutions specific to our offerings and articulate presentations that communicate proposals, strategies, plans and outcomes.

Education &Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), ACCA (UK) or MBA with 18+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Finance and Treasury specific domain and preferably a large network in this field
• Experience in handling treasury operations and system implementations, and has worked in/with offshore environment, has build niche teams/CoEs
• Experience on Treasury system implementation and treasury operations projects
• Knowledge of various data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI Knowledge of SAP Treasury, treasury analytics, Cash flow forecasting
• Experience in designing the treasury transformation and operating
• model design, Cash and Liquidity process design, Treasury technology
• digital strategy
• Experience in implementation and streamlining of cash and liquidity
• management procedures
• Have experience in current state analysis (As is), future state
• analysis , gap assessment for treasury operations and processes
• , process optimization, data optimization, data analytics, data management
• Knowledge of latest technology landscape, trends and solutions
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong training and mentoring skills
• Ability to manage a team and to establish credibility as a trusted

Knowledge and SkillsRequirements

• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management, leveraging the individual's expertise and experience, on utilizing new technologies, automation, and digitization to drive innovation and transform the finance function.
• Identify key areas of improvement within the treasury function and lead initiatives to streamline processes, optimize systems, and enhance overall performance.
• Process optimization experience in process areas like Treasury Ops, Liquidity and cash positioning, treasury transaction structuring
• Evaluate and assess vendor solutions, conducting vendor evaluations and recommending suitable options for treasury system implementation.
• Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption and integration of new processes, technologies, and ways of working
• Develop a robust performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and track the treasury function's progress and effectiveness, using the individual's expertise in performance management.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to finance team members, and assist them in understanding and engaging in the Treasury and commodities journey.
• Lead project management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress.
• Maintain relationships with the client's management in order to manage the expectations of service
• Account management, business development on select accounts
• Provide support in responding to Requests for Quotation (RFQs), preparing proposals, and participating in client discussions.
• Active participation in the creation and maintenance of an environment
• that enables the team to manage delivery effectively and achieve highest
