Role Description

This is a full-time role for the Executive Director – Operations & Projects, located in Ghaziabad. The role involves overseeing operational functions and project management to ensure effective and timely delivery of objectives. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, improving operational efficiencies, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals. The Executive Director will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead strategic initiatives to enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Business Operations Leadership

·       Oversee end-to-end execution across all verticals:

·       Solar Projects (installation, EPC, commissioning)

·       Road & Infrastructure Projects

·       Real Estate Development

·       Mining Operations (sand extraction & logistics)

·       Commodity Export operations

·       Ensure timely project delivery within cost and quality benchmarks.

Profitability & Financial Control

·       Own P&L across all divisions.

·       Drive revenue growth, margin optimisation, and cost control.

·       Monitor project costing, billing cycles, and cash flow.

·       Approve budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation.

Strategy & Expansion

·       Identify new business opportunities across sectors.

·       Drive expansion into new geographies and projects.

·       Evaluate tenders, contracts, and investment opportunities.

Process & Systems Control

·       Establish SOPs across all business units.

·       Implement MIS dashboards for real-time monitoring.

·       Improve efficiency, reduce wastage, and optimise resources.

Team Leadership

·       Lead cross-functional teams (projects, finance, procurement, sales).

·       Build second-line leadership across divisions.

·       Ensure accountability and a performance-driven culture.

Compliance & Risk Management

·       Ensure compliance with:

·       Government regulations (mining, infra, export)

·       Environmental and safety norms

·       Contractual and statutory obligations

·       Manage project and operational risks proactively.

Coordination & Execution

·       Coordinate with:

·       Government authorities

·       Contractors & vendors

·       Clients and stakeholders

  • Resolve bottlenecks across projects and operations

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Operations Management to optimise processes and improve efficiency
  • Strong experience handling multi-business or multi-project environments
  • Proven P&L ownership
  • Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics, identify challenges, and develop strategies
  • Experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective project delivery
  • Commitment to providing exceptional Customer Service and building strong client relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities
  • B.Tech / BE (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical preferred)
  • MBA (Operations / Finance) – highly preferred
  • Prior experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is a strong advantage

Annual CTC - 35 lakhs

Minimum experience required - 10 years
