Role Overview
EB Impact is a Singapore registered charity dedicated to making sustainability accessible and relatable to diverse communities. Through intergenerational programmes, youth engagement, and cross-sector partnerships, we empower individuals and communities to take meaningful action on sustainability.
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Executive Director to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and impact. This role reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for overall leadership, organisational sustainability, and programme excellence.
Strategic Leadership and Governance
- Lead the development and execution of EB Impact's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with mission and long-term growth.
- Work closely with the Board to strengthen governance, provide regular updates, and support effective decision-making and risk oversight.
- Build organisational capacity, including team development, role clarity, and operational systems.
Programme Leadership and Impact Growth
- Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of key programmes, including youth engagement platforms and intergenerational sustainability initiatives.
- Strengthen and scale flagship initiatives such as The Sustainability Youth Festival (TSYF) and Seeds of Change.
- Ensure programmes are impactful, relevant, and responsive to community needs.
Fundraising and Financial Stewardship
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies across grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with funders, corporate partners, and public sector stakeholders.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, cash flow, and cost optimisation, to ensure organisational sustainability.
Partnerships and Sector Engagement
- Cultivate strategic partnerships across government, corporate, and nonprofit sectors to advance EB Impact's mission.
- Position EB Impact as a thought leader in sustainability education and community engagement.
- Explore and develop new initiatives, including advisory or consulting opportunities related to sustainability strategy and reporting.
Qualifications
- At least 5–10 years of relevant experience in nonprofit leadership, social impact, or related fields.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising, and partnership development.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and leading teams.
- Experience working with Boards or governance bodies.
- Familiarity with sustainability, climate action, and/ or community development is strongly preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a lean and evolving organisation.
