Accountability & Responsibilities

Activities

Order Processing & Execution

  • Validate and process customer orders in ERP system
  • Coordinate with Production, Logistics, and Quality for order fulfilment
  • Monitor order status from booking to dispatch
  • Manage order amendments, cancellations, and returns

Customer Coordination & Service

  • Act as SPOC for order-related queries
  • Provide proactive updates on dispatch schedules and delays
  • Resolve service-related issues in coordination with internal teams
  • Track and improve OTIF performance

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports (Order booking, Dispatch, Allocation, Inventory, OTIF)
  • Maintain data accuracy and ensure ERP-system alignment
  • Generate dashboards for management review
  • Track KPIs such as order cycle time, fill rate, ageing orders, and service level

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze trends in order inflow, demand variability, and dispatch gaps
  • Identify bottlenecks in fulfilment cycle
  • Support S&OP discussions with structured data insights
  • Automate reports using Excel tools / BI dashboards

Key Challenges

  • Managing high order volumes with tight delivery timelines
  • Coordinating across multiple internal departments with conflicting priorities
  • Handling last-minute order changes and supply constraints
  • Ensuring 100% data accuracy in ERP systems
  • Managing customer expectations during production or logistics disruptions
  • Generating timely MIS despite incomplete or dynamic data inputs
