MovieMax Cinemas is a rapidly expanding chain of cinemas operated by Cineline India Limited. With 77 operational screens across 22 multiplexes and more on the horizon.
ROLE SUMMARY:-
To ensure uninterrupted operation and upkeep of all technical systems within the multiplex, including projection, sound, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, fire alarm systems (FAS), and auditorium infrastructure providing guests with a seamless and safe cinema experience.
Responsibilities
- Operation & Maintenance of Projection and Sound Systems
- Operation & Maintenance of Engineering Systems
- Auditorium Inspection & Maintenance
- Operate, monitor, and maintain digital projection systems (Barco, Christie, NEC, etc.) and servers (Dolby, Qube, GDC, etc.).
- Ensure all audio systems — amplifiers, speakers, and processors — are properly calibrated for optimal sound performance.]
- Conduct preventive maintenance and rectify projection or audio faults promptly.
- Maintain logs of all projection and sound operations, including content playback schedules
- Conduct daily inspection of all auditoriums for lighting, sound, projection, HVAC air flow, seats, flooring, and cleanliness.
- Ensure proper functioning of auditorium lighting, signage, and emergency exit systems.
- Rectify or escalate any defects in projection alignment, sound balance, or HVAC distribution.
- Maintain aesthetic and functional standards of all auditoriums in coordination with the operations team.
- Prepare periodic inspection checklists and ensure timely closure of audit points.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all cinema systems and track compliance.
- Attend to breakdowns on priority and ensure minimum downtime.
SKILLS & COMPENTENCIES: -
- Strong knowledge of projection, sound, and auditorium systems.
- Hands-on expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and FAS systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation ability.
- Vendor management and preventive maintenance planning.
- PWD Wireman/Supervisor license (Preference)
- Technical proficiency (Projection, Sound & Engineering Systems
Qualifications
ITI /Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
PWD Wireman/Supervisor license (Preference)
