Roles and Responsibilities
- Support new product development across the product categories, including pastry, bakery, desserts, sandwiches, savouries, chocolate, and beverages
- Study market trends and contribute to ideation
- Recipe development, documentation, and costing
- Define product presentation standards
- Create SOPs to productionise standard recipes on a large scale
- Train the production teams on standard recipes and SOPs
- Supporting marketing in development of product descriptions, packaging, photo shoots, and product demo videos
Desired Candidate Profile
- Hotel Management graduate with 12-15 years of experience in five-star hotels and/or premium food retail
- Strong experience in pastry and bakery
- Exposure to hot & cold kitchen and general management of kitchen
- Skills & Attitude
- Strong alignment to Values & ethical principles
- Strong technical understanding in pastry making and bakery
