About The Role
We are seeking a
highly organized and analytical Executive - Category Operations to oversee the
Skin, Hair, Appliances, and Bath & Body categories at Broadway. The role involves managing vendor relationships, optimizing inventory, supporting promotional activities, and tracking category performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Category Execution: Support category strategy implementation for Skin, Hair, Appliances, and Bath & Body.
- Vendor & Brand Management: Coordinate with brands for stock planning, pricing strategies, and marketing activations.
- Inventory & Stock Optimization: Ensure the right stock mix, minimize out-of-stock situations, and track sell-through rates.
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and provide recommendations to improve category performance.
- Store & VM Compliance: Ensure the correct display of products and alignment with brand merchandising guidelines.
- Promotions & Campaigns: Assist in executing in-store promotions, brand activations, and product trials.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Store Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to enhance category performance.
- Reporting & Analytics: Maintain detailed category reports, track KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in category operations, merchandising, or retail management, preferably in Skin, Hair, Appliances, or Bath & Body categories.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills for stock and sales tracking.
- Knowledge of product trends, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive category success.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
