- Identify and evaluate potential domestic as well as foreign biomass briquette suppliers based on type, quantity, quality, price, reliability, and sustainability factors as approved & suggested by plant
- Develop, implement & handle procurement strategies and policies for biomass briquettes, considering market trends, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability targets.
- Analyse and forecast demand, ensuring an adequate and consistent supply of biomass briquettes to meet plant requirements (even during monsoon and off season)
- Optimize procurement processes to minimize costs, streamline operations & maximize efficiency.
- Negotiate favourable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure cost-effective and reliable biomass briquette supply through long term contracts
- Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with existing as well as new suppliers, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure efficient inventory planning and management.
