Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate end-to-end BGV processes, ensuring adherence to defined TATs and timely closure of cases.
- Act as a primary point of contact between the BGV vendor and internal stakeholders for resolving insufficiencies, discrepancies, and escalations.
- Collaborate with recruiters to obtain required candidate information and documentation for smooth BGV initiation and processing.
- Maintain, review, and regularly update BGV trackers to ensure accurate and real-time status reporting.
- Organize and manage BGV documentation and folders, ensuring proper storage of interim and final reports.
- Handle BGV-related approvals, including verification charges (e.g., DD for education/employment checks), with appropriate management authorization.
- Ensure approval from authorized stakeholders before initiating any alternative or secondary verification methods.
- Conduct weekly review meetings with the BGV team to track progress, address challenges, and drive case closures.
- Publish weekly BGV status reports to leadership, highlighting key updates, risks, and pending actions.
- Perform monthly audits of BGV reports, trackers, and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of candidate and requisition data before sharing reports with stakeholders.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and data security of all candidate information.
- Enforce adherence to BGV policies and processes, preventing unauthorized actions such as stopping, deleting, or cancelling checks without approval.
Desired Skills:
- Graduate in any discipline (HR or related field preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in BGV/HR operations or compliance-related roles.
- Prior experience in handling vendor coordination and audit processes preferred.
- Strong understanding of Background Verification processes and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy & ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills & proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
