Company Description Studio Emergence is a design studio founded by architects Seeja Sudhakaran and Khushbu Davda, specializing in geometry-driven and parametric design approaches. The studio works as a network of architects and designers focused on algorithmic and parametric design strategies, supported by a research cell that collaborates with designers and artists worldwide. Studio Emergence partners with architecture firms for parametric consultancy and provides data-driven, computation-based design solutions to end users and developers, helping integrate advanced technologies into existing workflows. In addition to architecture and planning, the studio creates installations and products based on parametric design, often inspired by nature, biomimicry, and strong geometric forms, while actively exploring digital fabrication techniques.
Role Description The Executive Assistant internship at Studio Emergence is an on-site role based in Mumbai. The intern will support studio leadership with executive and administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing travel, and preparing expense reports. Daily responsibilities include handling correspondence, drafting and formatting documents, maintaining records, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves assisting with presentations, tracking project-related information, and helping streamline studio operations. This internship offers exposure to a design-focused environment and requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Executive Administrative Assistance and Executive Support skills to manage calendars, meetings, and leadership coordination.
- Administrative Assistance skills to organize documentation, maintain records, and support daily studio operations.
- Communication skills to handle emails, calls, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to prepare and track Expense Reports with accuracy and adherence to studio processes.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with proficiency in common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Interest in architecture, design, or creative industries; prior exposure or coursework in these fields is beneficial.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant degree or diploma program.
