Executive IT Administrator for CIO
Location: Silicon Labs, India
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Reports To: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Job Summary:
The Executive IT Administrator will provide high-level administrative, technical, and operational support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Silicon Labs. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage IT functions, coordinate strategic initiatives, and support the CIO in driving technology excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Executive Support:
- Manage and coordinate the CIO s calendar, meetings, and appointments.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for IT strategy meetings.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the CIO and internal/external stakeholders.
IT Operations & Technical Coordination:
- Oversee IT project tracking, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in managing IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with IT teams to facilitate smooth operation of IT infrastructure and services.
- Maintain and update IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Strategic Support & Project Management:
- Support the CIO in executing IT transformation and digital initiatives.
- Monitor IT trends and provide research-based insights for technology adoption.
- Track key IT metrics and generate reports for leadership review.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of IT projects.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate communication between the IT department and other business units.
- Organize town halls, executive briefings, and IT leadership meetings.
- Represent the CIO in meetings and follow up on action items.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an executive assistant, IT coordinator, or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven organization.
- Experience in IT governance, project management, or digital transformation is a plus.
Technical & Administrative Skills:
- Proficiency in IT tools, Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom, Slack), and project management software (JIRA, Confluence, Asana).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing principles.
- Ability to analyze IT reports and interpret data for decision-making.
