Position Summary: Blossom is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our CTO & Co-Founder. This isn't a traditional administrative role or passive calendar management. You'll become the operational partner that helps engineering leadership stay focused on building by keeping priorities organized, communication flowing, and execution on track. If you're someone who naturally notices details, enjoys bringing order to chaos, and takes ownership without waiting to be asked, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

  • Own inbox, Slack, and task management - surface what actually needs attention, draft routine replies, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Research and first drafts - prepare summaries, comparisons, presentations, emails, and internal documentation that accelerate decision-making.
  • Coordinate travel and logistics - plan itineraries, bookings, and logistics for team offsites, workations, and other company travel.
  • Automate repetitive work - use AI tools, spreadsheets, and simple scripts to eliminate manual tasks and speed up day-to-day operations.
  • Run calendar and meeting logistics - coordinate schedules, protect focus time, and keep the week running smoothly.
  • Prepare and close out meetings - build agendas, track action items, and follow through until they're complete.
  • Coordinate across teams - facilitate communication across Engineering, Product, Design, Operations, and external partners to ensure priorities, meetings, and follow-ups stay aligned.
  • Handle operations - manage software subscriptions, vendor coordination, and the day-to-day operational tasks that keep the team running efficiently.
  • Close open loops - proactively follow up with vendors, and partners so commitments are tracked and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Support the broader engineering leadership team - while primarily supporting the CTO, you'll occasionally help Tech Leads and Engineering Managers with coordination, logistics, and operational tasks.

What we're looking for:

  • 1+ year supporting a founder, executive, or fast-moving team (startup experience is a strong plus).
  • Ruthlessly organized and proactive - you close loops before anyone has to ask.
  • Excellent written communication - you can draft professional emails and documents with minimal guidance.
  • Comfortable with AI and automation - you're excited to use AI tools, lightweight scripts, APIs, or no-code workflows to eliminate repetitive work.
  • Comfortable with modern tools like Notion, Slack, Jira, and AI assistants like Claude.
  • Strong judgment - you know when to act independently, when to escalate, and when to ask questions.
  • Bias toward action and comfort with ambiguity - you enjoy figuring things out independently.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously.
