Executive Accountant

Role Description This is a fully remote, full-time position based in India. The Executive Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting and financial operations across Al Fujairah Jewellers LLC and its associated entities. This includes managing general ledger entries, preparing and reviewing financial statements, handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, and reconciling bank and cash accounts. The role also involves monitoring inventory-related transactions, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. The Executive Accountant will prepare periodic financial reports, assist with audits, and provide data-driven insights to management to support decision-making. Collaboration with internal teams to improve financial processes, maintain accurate records, and uphold strong internal controls is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in an accounting role, with prior experience within the gold and diamond industry being mandatory
• Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decisions
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support audit activities
• Comfort with accounting software, ERP systems, and standard office tools such as spreadsheets
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a fully remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines without direct supervision
