Operate and maintain the existing Oracle and PostgreSQL databases (Central DB, NGC, GOSTAR) to ensure reliability, performance, and availability.
Diagnose and resolve production database issues quickly, providing strong operational support and incident response.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and database logic in PostgreSQL (PL/pgSQL) used by production applications.
Perform and automate data-validation and data-quality checks using scripting (e.g. , Python, SQL) to replace manual processes.
Support the transition from Central DB (Oracle) to NGC (PostgreSQL), ensuring data integrity and smooth migration activities.
Support database engineers working on the NGC database and stay aligned with data engineers building automated data delivery pipelines.
Enforce best practices for schema evolution and change management to maintain cross-system stability and compatibility.
