Job Description

1. Windows Server Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).
  • Ensure the efficient operation of Windows-based servers and applications, monitoring their performance and health.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues including hardware, software, and network-related problems.

Server Configuration & Optimization:

  • Configure and optimize server roles, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Manage and optimize server performance, including disk space, memory usage, and CPU utilization.
  • Implement and monitor server performance metrics, applying patches and updates as necessary.

Active Directory & Group Policy Management:

  • Administer and manage Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, organizational units (OUs), group policies, and trust relationships.
  • Design and implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings and operational policies across the environment.
  • Migrating of Windows Server

Patch Management:

  • Coordinate and manage the patching of servers with regular updates for security, bug fixes, and system enhancements.

Ticketing System

1.  Network Maintenance and Support:

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve network-related issues such as Firewall, L3 Switches, Configuring & Troubleshooting VLANs
  • Collaborate with the team to implement network changes and upgrades.

2. Team Support

a. Support the Assistant Manager in managing and mentoring the network support team.

b. Help team members develop their skills and guide their day-to-day tasks.

c. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.

3. AZURE & AWS Administrator:

a. Azure Infrastructure Management:

b. Design, implement, and manage Azure-based virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, and other cloud resources.

c. AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other services.

d. Oversee and manage cloud networking, routing, load balancing, and firewall configurations in AWS.

e. Maintain and monitor the performance, availability, and security of the organization's Azure infrastructure.

f. Cloud Resource Deployment & Automation:

g. Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or other CI/CD tools.

h. Manage resource scaling, load balancing, and monitoring of cloud resources to ensure efficiency.

i. Monitoring & Optimization:

Monitor system performance using Azure monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and

Azure Security Center.

b. Perform routine health checks and audits, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve performance issues.

c. Support & Troubleshooting:

d. Provide technical support for Azure services and assist in troubleshooting issues related to Azure infrastructure.

e. Collaborate with other teams (e.g., Development, Networking, Security) to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues effectively.

1. Documentation:

a. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

b. Ensure that the team follows documentation best practices.

2. Vendor Coordination:

a. Assist in managing relationships with network hardware and software vendors.

b. Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and obtain necessary support.

3. Security and Compliance:

a. Support the implementation and enforcement of network security policies and best practices.

b. Assist in monitoring network traffic for security threats and contributing to risk mitigation efforts.

c. Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

4. Project Support:

a. Assist in the planning and execution of network projects, upgrades, and expansions.

b. Participate in project meetings and coordinate tasks with team members to meet project goals.

5. Reporting and Analytics:

a. Assist in generating network performance reports and analytics.

b. Provide insights and recommendations for network improvements based on data

analysis.

Qualifications

  • Any Graduate
  • Minimum of 7 + years of experience in network support and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software.
  • Relevant certifications (Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), AWS Certified Solutions
  • Architect Associate or AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator Associate, MCSA,. CCNA) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
