Job Description

Company Overview

Sapyen is a venture-backed HealthTech company pioneering the world's most accurate, affordable, and convenient at-home male fertility test.

Job Description

We're hiring an Events & Marketing Coordinator to plan, execute, and optimise events while supporting broader marketing initiatives that elevate Sapyen's brand and drive engagement. This is a foundational role focused on delivering high-quality, seamless event experiences while also producing and coordinating key marketing materials.

You'll own the end-to-end coordination of events: from concept through execution and post-event analysis, while also supporting internal marketing requests such as brochures, presentations, and campaign assets. This includes patient education webinars, partner activations, industry conferences, and internal initiatives.

We're looking for someone who can balance logistics with hands-on execution: someone who can manage multiple moving parts with precision while also contributing to how we present ourselves to the world. Our events are our major driver for impact in our markets.

You'll report to the SVP of Strategy & Operations and work closely with our sales, business development, customer experience and external suppliers

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan and coordinate end-to-end logistics for virtual and in-person events, including webinars, conferences and partner activations.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and run-of-show documentation.
  • Coordinate speakers, presenters, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Oversee live event execution: ensuring everything runs on time, on brand and without friction.

Marketing Coordination & Content

  • Support the creation of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, one-pagers and event collateral.
  • Manage internal marketing requests—prioritising, coordinating, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Work closely with marketing and design to ensure brand consistency across all assets.
  • Assist in campaign execution tied to events, partnerships and product initiatives.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work with clinics, healthcare providers and partners to co-host and promote events.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event-related communications with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging, branding and promotional efforts.

Administration

  • Manage event registration systems, attendee communications and follow-ups.
  • Track budgets, invoices, and vendor payments with accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed records of event performance, marketing outputs and outcomes.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve event workflows, marketing request intake and execution processes.
  • Build and maintain playbooks, templates and asset libraries for repeatable success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and introduce automation where possible.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or operations: ideally in healthcare, startups or B2C environments.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills: able to manage multiple work streams (events + marketing) simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills: clear, confident, and professional across written and verbal channels.
  • Experience creating or coordinating marketing materials (e.g. brochures, presentations, event collateral).
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and vendors effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently, making decisions under pressure, and adapting in real time.
  • Familiarity with event platforms (e.g. Zoom, Eventbrite) and marketing/CRM tools.
  • Strong attention to detail—both in execution and in how the brand is represented.
  • Ability to work flexible hours depending on event schedules and global audiences.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous startup experience.
  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or regulated environments.
  • Basic design skills (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite).
  • Experience supporting campaigns or growth/marketing teams.

Why should you join us

We're a small, bold team setting a new standard in fertility care—writing the playbook on diagnostics, patient experience, and male fertility solutions. Here, you won't just follow; you'll define how we operate.

We're audacious problem-solvers. Despite male-factor issues contributing to 50% of fertility challenges, there hasn't been a truly accurate, affordable, and convenient way to test male fertility. While 61% of men are hesitant to seek care due to feelings of emasculation, and many others lack timely, affordable access, we're changing that. At Sapyen, your work will have a genuine, measurable impact.

And we'll invest in you. Excellence drives us, and we're committed to building your career in a way that excites you. We'll support you with ongoing learning and development, private health insurance reimbursements, and access to professional coaching. If you deliver, we'll back you even further.

Important Details

Location: Remote, India-based.

Remuneration: Competitive Market Remuneration.

What it's like to work here

  • Excellence is the Baseline: As a lean, high-impact team, we move quickly, adapt on the fly, and are driven by results. Priorities shift, challenges arise, and rapid iteration is the norm. Success here requires resilience, agility, and a relentless focus on impact.

  • Creating the Playbook as We Go: We're building something new and transformative. This demands constant problem-solving, the ability to pivot when needed, and an unwavering commitment to refining our product as we grow. If you thrive on tackling the unknown and bringing ideas to life, this role will push you to new heights.

  • True Autonomy and Ownership: At Sapyen, you'll have a level of ownership that's rare. Many projects will start as rough ideas needing definition, strategy, and execution—driven by you. This role calls for self-direction, decisive action, and the confidence to lead where paths aren't clearly defined.
