Role Overview
The Events & Partnerships Executive will be responsible for building and managing event-led partnerships on the platform. The role involves working closely with sports event organisers, communities, and venues to enable successful events, drive registrations, and create long-term collaborations. This is a business-facing role with clear ownership on partnerships and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound conversations with sports event organisers, leagues, academies, and communities
- Understand event requirements such as sport, format, location, budget, and timelines
- Identify and recommend suitable venues in coordination with internal teams
- Close event partnerships and ensure smooth onboarding on the platform
- Manage event listings and ensure accuracy of event details and registrations
- Act as the primary point of contact for organisers throughout the event lifecycle
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
- Build repeat partnerships and long-term relationships with organisers
What Success Looks Like
- Strong conversion of event enquiries into confirmed partnerships
- Consistently well-executed events with positive organiser feedback
- Growth in repeat organisers and long-term collaborations
- Steady contribution to event-driven revenue and platform engagement
Skills & Experience
- 23 years of experience in events, partnerships, business development, or sports management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial mindset with high ownership
- Ability to manage multiple partners and timelines simultaneously
- Interest in sports and community-driven ecosystems
