Event Project Manager

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India

About the Company

Feteevents is an events-focused company with a dedicated website and an active hiring need for operational talent. The team likely works in a fast-moving, client-facing environment where planning discipline, coordination, and delivery quality matter. This role supports a business that depends on reliable execution, strong communication, and the ability to keep multiple event workstreams moving on time. The hire will help strengthen how projects are managed from planning through delivery, so events are completed smoothly and client expectations are met consistently.

About the Role

The Event Project Manager owns event delivery from planning through execution, ensuring every milestone is clear, tracked, and completed on time. The role brings structure to timelines, vendor coordination, client communication, and on-ground readiness so event outcomes stay aligned to scope, budget, and quality expectations. This person acts as the operational anchor across teams, making sure responsibilities are understood, risks are surfaced early, and approvals move without delay. Success in the role comes from turning moving parts into a controlled delivery process that protects client experience and business reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end project delivery for events, translating client requirements into clear timelines, workplans, and execution milestones that keep teams aligned and reduce last-minute delivery risk.
  • Coordinate vendors, venues, logistics partners, and internal teams so every dependency is tracked, the right owner is accountable, and event readiness stays on schedule.
  • Manage client communication through planning and execution, ensuring expectations are aligned, updates are timely, and issues are escalated early before they affect delivery quality.
  • Build and maintain event run sheets, checklists, and status trackers that provide a single source of truth for progress, approvals, and on-ground readiness.
  • Track budgets, scope changes, and resource needs so delivery stays commercially controlled and project decisions support both client satisfaction and business margin.
  • Lead on-site execution and troubleshoot operational issues in real time, protecting event flow, guest experience, and brand standards under time pressure.
  • Run post-event reviews to capture learnings, identify recurring gaps, and improve the planning process for stronger future delivery.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong event project management skills with the ability to structure timelines, dependencies, and delivery checkpoints across multiple moving workstreams without losing control of detail.
  • Proven coordination and stakeholder-management ability, with the judgment to align clients, vendors, and internal teams around one clear execution plan and escalation path.
  • Working knowledge of event operations, including vendor management, venue coordination, logistics planning, and on-ground troubleshooting under live-event pressure.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, so updates are crisp, expectations are clear, and issues are handled professionally with speed and accountability.
  • Strong ownership over tracking tools such as spreadsheets, project plans, and status dashboards, using them to improve visibility and execution discipline.
  • Practical problem-solving ability with calm decision-making, especially when priorities shift, timing slips, or last-minute changes need to be absorbed without affecting quality.

Additional Plus

  • Exposure to large-format corporate, brand, or experiential events is a strong advantage because it usually brings sharper control over complexity, client expectations, and delivery pace.
  • Familiarity with event production, staging, or technical coordination can help the manager spot risks earlier and work more effectively with specialist partners.
  • Experience with high-volume vendor networks or multi-city event execution would be valuable where scale and consistency matter.

What You'll Bring

  • A track record of owning projects end to end and turning plans into reliable delivery, even when timelines are tight and multiple stakeholders need to stay aligned.
  • The discipline to keep communication, documentation, and follow-through sharp so event execution is predictable, visible, and easy for the team to trust.
  • The calm, practical judgment to solve problems quickly on the ground without losing focus on client experience or business outcomes.
  • A collaborative style that builds accountability across vendors and internal teams while keeping momentum high from kickoff to closeout.

Why Join Us

At Feteevents, this role offers the chance to shape how events are delivered with more structure, clarity, and control. You will work in a business where execution quality directly affects client confidence, repeat work, and reputation in the market. That means your impact is visible: better planning, smoother coordination, fewer surprises, and stronger outcomes on the ground. The role is well suited to someone who likes ownership, enjoys bringing order to complexity, and wants to be trusted with real responsibility across the full event lifecycle. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment and take pride in making difficult deliveries look seamless, this role gives you the platform to do that.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to own high-visibility event projects where strong delivery directly influences client satisfaction and business growth.
  • A hands-on role with broad exposure across planning, coordination, execution, and post-event improvement, giving you full ownership of the event lifecycle.
  • A collaborative environment where execution quality, responsiveness, and accountability are valued throughout the delivery process.
