Description

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager specializing in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).

Job Location - North Delhi - India

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of various MICE events (Corporate Events) within and out of India

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events from inception to completion within set timelines and budgets.
  • Would be responsible for all operations relevant to MICE Events within India and Overseas.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Manage logistics including venue selection, transportation, catering, audiovisual requirements, and accommodation arrangements.
  • Lead a team of event coordinators and ensure effective communication and coordination among team members.
  • Conduct site visits and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services and rates.
  • Monitor event budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and adherence to financial goals.
  • Evaluate and report on event performance and client satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance event offerings and provide innovative solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-12 years of experience in event planning and management, specifically in the MICE sector.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
