We are seeking an experienced Event Manager with 3-5 years in corporate B2B events for tech companies, specializing in AI and AWS ecosystems. This role involves end-to-end planning and execution of high-impact virtual, hybrid, and local events like CXO roundtables, AWS partner summits, AI innovation forums, and developer workshops, with frequent domestic and international travel required to ensure seamless delivery aligned with client revenue goals.
Job Summary
Lead event strategies for our AI and AWS-focused client, driving lead generation and partner engagement through premium B2B experiences. Own full lifecycle from ideation to post-event ROI analysis, collaborating with sales, marketing, and AWS channel teams while managing budgets up to $500K per event. Thrive in a fast-paced environment blending cutting-edge AI demos with AWS cloud tech activations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute event roadmaps for AI/ML conferences, AWS re:Invent-style summits, virtual webinars via Zoom/Whova, and local tech meetups targeting C-suite and developers.
Handle vendor negotiations (venues, AV, catering), logistics for 50-500 attendees, sponsorship integrations with AWS partners, and hybrid tech stacks for immersive AI experiences.
Promote events via LinkedIn, email campaigns, and AWS Marketplace; track metrics like 20% lead conversion; manage on-site operations with 10-20% travel (e.g., Mumbai, Bangalore, Singapore).
Conduct risk assessments for tech-heavy events, ensure data compliance (GDPR/AWS standards), and deliver detailed reports on engagement, pipeline impact, and budget variance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or related; 3-5 years proven B2B event management in tech/AI/SaaS, with direct AWS partner event experience preferred.
Hands-on with event platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite, Hopin), AWS event tools, and analytics (Google Analytics, Marketo); strong project management (Asana/Trello).
Willingness for 15-25% travel; experience scaling events from virtual pilots to multi-city roadshows with ROI focus.
