Position Description

Position Title: Event Executive

Reports To: Head of Future Student Recruitment

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

Plan and deliver high-quality events (fairs, roadshows, webinars, campus activities) that support brand and recruitment outcomes. Manage logistics, vendor SLAs, risk controls, and post-event ROI reporting.

Accountabilities

Develop event plans and run-of-show documents; coordinate venues, AV, registration systems, signage, and staffing.
Procure and manage vendors; track SLAs, delivery schedules, and on-site QA; reconcile invoices with Finance.
Ensure brand-compliant environments and collateral; prepare briefing packs for speakers and staff.
Implement contingency plans (power/AV failure, weather, crowd management); maintain incident logs and debriefs.
Deliver post-event reports (attendance, leads, costs, ROI); propose improvements and standard operating procedures.

Operate within UNSW Sydney's global brand governance model, ensuring all activity is aligned with defined Playbooks, with appropriate approvals and compliance to defined frameworks and processes.
Actively demonstrate alignment with the UNSW Code of Conduct and Values.
Comply with all health, safety, and wellbeing policies and take reasonable care to ensure actions do not impact the psychosocial or physical health and safety of self or others.

Skill & Experience

Bachelor's degree; 3+ years in events operations.
Strong organisational, vendor coordination, and on-site problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during peak periods.
