The Event Coordinator – Art & Culture Department will support the planning and execution of cultural and artistic events. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing communication with participants and vendors, and ensuring smooth on-ground execution of events and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing cultural events such as fests, exhibitions, workshops, and performances
- Coordinate with artists, performers, student clubs, and internal departments
- Manage event logistics including venue booking, permissions, and scheduling
- Support in vendor coordination (sound, lighting, décor, catering, etc.)
- Ensure proper event setup and smooth execution on the day of the event
- Maintain communication with participants and handle registrations
- Assist in promotion of events through social media and internal channels
- Track event budgets and maintain expense records
- Prepare event checklists, reports, and documentation
- Handle on-ground issues and provide quick resolutions during events
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Arts, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in event coordination (freshers with strong exposure can also apply)
- Experience in cultural or academic events preferred
- Good organizational and coordination skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of event logistics and planning
- Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
