Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) activities in compliance with pollution control norms.
- Ensure proper treatment of industrial effluent, RO reject, and wastewater as per statutory requirements.
- Monitor pH, COD, BOD, TDS, MLSS, and other ETP parameters.
- Handle RO, MEE, ATFD, scrubber systems, and utility-related environmental operations.
- Maintain logbooks, daily reports, and environmental documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, Safety, and Maintenance departments for smooth ETP operation.
- Ensure compliance with TNPCB, CPCB, and environmental regulations.
- Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor chemical dosing, sludge handling, and waste disposal activities.
- Ensure safety practices and housekeeping in the ETP area.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of ETP/STP operations in Pharma/API industry.
- Familiarity with pollution control systems and environmental compliance.
- Understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Exposure to GMP and EHS practices preferred.
Qualification
- B.Sc Chemistry / Environmental Science
- Diploma / B.E. Chemical / Environmental Engineering
- Any relevant environmental certification is an added advantage.

- API / Bulk Drug / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
- Chemical Manufacturing Industry
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates should be willing to work in shifts if required.
- Experience in regulated manufacturing plants preferred.
