ETL Testing with Snowflake Professional

We are looking for an experienced ETL Testing Professional with strong expertise in Snowflake and modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing ETL workflows in cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Validate data migration, transformation, and loading processes across Snowflake and related platforms.
• Perform data profiling and data validation using SQL and Snowflake utilities.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to understand data requirements.
• Automate test scripts and maintain reusable components for test cases.
• Conduct end-to-end testing for cloud data warehouse implementations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data inconsistencies or anomalies.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect logs.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in ETL testing (Informatica, Talend, or similar)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data validation
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas
• Experience with data quality, data reconciliation, and validation techniques
• Hands-on with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar

Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Python or Shell scripting for test automation
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP (especially for Snowflake on cloud)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
• Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, Power BI (for data validation)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
