Job Description

  • Data Engineering & ETL Validation:
  • Apply knowledge of data warehouse concepts and validate ETL processes using tools such as Informatica, Matillion, DBT, and AWS Glue to ensure seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading while maintaining data quality and integrity.
  • Database Management & Querying:
  • Execute and manage queries across databases including Snowflake, Oracle, Netezza, SQL Server, DynamoDB, DB2, and Postgres. Conduct data validation, troubleshooting, and SQL scripting to ensure accurate results.
  • Automation & Scripting:
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Tosca DI, or similar tools to improve efficiency in data testing and regression processes.
  • BI Reporting & Validation:
  • Perform data validation and generate reports using BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, and Tableau, ensuring data consistency and accuracy for business insights.
  • Test Planning & Execution:
  • Author comprehensive test plans and scripts, perform regression testing, manage test data sets, and ensure realistic and thorough testing scenarios.
  • Defect Management:
  • Analyze defects, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Cloud Testing & Tools:
  • Leverage cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for testing environments, and utilize test management tools such as Jira or ALM.
