ETL Testing Professional

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across various data sources and targets.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for ETL testing using Python, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
• Validate data transformations and data integrity rules across complex data pipelines.
• Work with SQL databases to write complex queries for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting during ETL processes.
• Test ETL processes deployed within the Azure cloud environment, ensuring data flow and performance meet requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during ETL testing, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases for ETL processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in ETL testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficient in SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis.
• Experience in test automation, particularly with Python scripting for ETL testing.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud environment as it pertains to data integration and ETL processes.

Good to Have:

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms beyond Azure.
