Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans for ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Perform data validation and verification to ensure compliance with business requirements.
- Document testing processes and results, providing clear reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Strong experience in ETL testing with a clear understanding of data warehousing concepts is required.
- Hands-on experience in automation testing using Python for data validation and ETL workflows is required.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
- Experience in designing and executing data testing strategies to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to identify data discrepancies, analyze root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and test management tools is preferred.
- Good communication skills with the ability to document test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Education:B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or related fields.
