Role & Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end test cases for ETL processes, validating data extraction, transformation, and load accuracy across multiple source systems.
- Validate data lineage, referential integrity, and business rule compliance using SQL queries and data profiling tools.
- Automate regression and smoke tests using frameworks like Selenium, PyTest, or UFT to accelerate validation cycles and reduce manual testing effort.
- Collaborate with data engineers to identify test gaps, log defects, and track resolution through JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
- Generate test reports and dashboards that summarize data quality metrics, defect trends, and pipeline health for stakeholder review.
- Participate in sprint planning and CI/CD pipeline integration to embed data testing into DevOps workflows.
