Job Description
Job Title: Senior QA Analyst
Location: Bengaluru | Experience: 5+ Years
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring application quality through comprehensive testing, defect management, stakeholder communication, database validation, and enabling reliable and timely releases.
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute test cases (functional, regression, and integration)
Validate data using SQL/PLSQL queries
Track and manage defects using JIRA
Provide regular status updates on progress, risks, and blockers
Prepare test summary and release readiness reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution
Ensure QA sign-off by validating release readiness and continuously improving testing efficiency and quality
Utilize Copilot/AI tools to enhance test design, analysis, and reporting efficiency
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of STLC/SDLC
Experience in manual testing and defect tracking
Good understanding of SQL and PLSQL for data validation
Familiarity with AI/Copilot tools for productivity and quality improvement
Strong communication and reporting skills
Experience working in Agile environments
Other Aspects
Type of data testing involved (ETL/Data Warehouse/Database/BI, etc.): ETL, DB
Any specific tools or technologies required: Oracle SQL knowledge is preferred
Work location / remote or hybrid expectations: Kochi / Bangalore; hybrid
Notice period preference / maximum acceptable notice period: Immediate joiner / max 30 days
Interview process and number of rounds: 2 rounds; second round Face-to-Face in Office
Expected joining timeline: ASAP
