Job Summary
Job Title: MDM QA Engineer (Offshore)
Location: Offshore – US Eastern overlap
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced MDM QA Engineer with strong SQL, PySpark, and ETL testing skills to support Healthfirst's Information Management (IM) team. While prior MDM experience is preferred, the ideal candidate should have a solid technical foundation in data validation, data quality, and large-scale data platform testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and data validation testing for MDM and data integration solutions.
- Validate ETL pipelines and data transformations across source and target systems.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Validate PySpark-based data processing workflows.
- Execute end-to-end testing, defect analysis, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL
- Experience with PySpark
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data validation
- Experience in QA/testing of data warehouse or data integration solutions
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) platforms (Informatica MDM or similar)
- Healthcare or payer domain experience
- Experience with Agile delivery teams
