ETL Tester

Role: ETL Tester with Python

Location: Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru (Onsite)

Client: Fulltime with Infosys

Role Overview

We are looking for an ETL Tester with strong Python programming skills to validate data pipelines, ensure data quality, and identify data discrepancies across source and target systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for ETL/data pipelines.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
• Write SQL queries to verify data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop Python scripts for test automation, data validation, and comparison.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Perform regression, integration, and data quality testing.
• Analyze test results and communicate issues to development and data teams.
• Support automation of repetitive ETL testing activities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL/data warehouse testing.
• Strong knowledge of ETL testing concepts and data validation.
• Good proficiency in Python programming, including scripting and data manipulation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with data warehouses and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.
• Understanding of testing methodologies, defect life cycle, and QA processes.
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas is preferred.
