Etl Qa Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform ETL testing activities including data validation, transformation checks, and schema verification.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate table mappings, data structures, and data quality during migration projects.
• Conduct schema validations and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Validate Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) and understand various SCD types.
• Apply strong database methodology knowledge for effective testing.
• Execute testing for BI reports and ensure data accuracy across reporting layers.
• Work with peripheral technologies such as PeopleSoft, SAP, and Aderant.
• Utilize tools such as UFT and TFS for test execution and management.
• Support testing efforts for Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) systems.
• Contribute to testing activities including test planning, test case creation, debugging, execution, and test analysis.
• Estimate testing efforts and contribute to QA planning activities.
• Analyze functional, user, and technical requirements for testing scenarios.
• Perform functional testing and create appropriate test metrics.
• Follow defect management procedures and ensure timely resolution.
• Deliver high-quality work within project timelines and act as the primary resource when needed.
