Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & ETL Development Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of ETL developers to deliver high-quality data solutions
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
- Ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across enterprise systems
- Implement ETL optimization techniques, including pushdown optimization and performance tuning
Data Warehouse & Cloud Platform Management
- Work extensively on Snowflake for building and managing cloud-based data platforms
- Apply strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
- Ensure scalable, high-performance, and well-structured data architectures
Advanced SQL & Data Processing
- Perform complex data extraction, transformation, and validation using Advanced SQL
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and accuracy in large-scale datasets
- Support data quality initiatives and ensure consistency across data pipelines
Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery
Operations, Deployment & Issue Management
- Manage deployments across development, QA, and production environments
- Coordinate release activities and ensure smooth production support
- Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
Team Leadership & Governance
- Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and guidance to team members
- Manage task prioritization, timelines, and delivery tracking in a fast-paced environment
- Promote best practices in ETL design, coding standards, and data quality
Scripting & Automation
- Work on shell scripting for automation and operational efficiency
- Leverage Python knowledge (preferred) for data processing and enhancements
