REQUIRED SKILLS:
Designing and developing efficient and scalable ETL processes for data extraction,
transformation, and loading from various sources into the data warehouse or other target
systems.
Ability to profile analyze datasets to identify patterns & trends, data quality issues, define
transformation requirements and performance optimization opportunities.
Troubleshooting and resolving ETL job failures, performance issues, and data integration errors.
High Proficiency in working on complex SQL while working relational databases (e.g., Oracle,
MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake).
Strong knowledge on data modeling concepts and ability to optimize data structures for
performance and scalability
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with cloud
based ETL tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data
integration needs.
Coordination skills to support interaction among data architects, database administrators, data
stewards and others to propose new data model design, optimization of existing model and
efficient data integration strategies.
Participated in creation of functional specifications documents (FSD), business process flow and
schema design plan.
Ability to precisely document technical specifications designs, data mappings, ETL design
architecture for future reference and maintenance.
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent
work experience).
5-8 yrs. of experience in developing, designing and optimization of ETL Data pipelines with
standard tools IICS, Informatica PowerCenter, IBM DataStage, Microsoft SSIS, or similar tools
Proven experience as an ETL Lead or similar role, with a strong understanding of data
integration and warehousing concepts and practices.
Have worked on effort estimation for small to medium implementations.
Minimum 2-3 yrs. experience managing a team of 5+ members. Daily assistance to team
members on Work prioritization, work allocation and resource utilization.
