Position Overview
Seeking a Senior ETL Developer responsible for supporting, maintaining, enhancing, and migrating enterprise ETL applications. The role involves production support, process understanding/documentation, and modernization of legacy ETL systems.
Must Have Skills
- Strong ETL development and support experience
- Hands-on experience with:
- IBM DataStage
- ETL workflows and pipelines
- Experience in:
- Production support
- Application enhancements
- Tech migration projects
- Software development lifecycle
- CI/CD and Agile methodologies
- Ability to understand and document business processes
- Experience with backend systems, APIs, and microservices
- Knowledge of security best practices including:
- Encryption
- Data anonymization
- Strong problem-solving and architecture understanding
- 10+ years overall IT experience
- 8+ years in development
Good to Have
- IBM CP4D exposure
- Fullstack development exposure
- Experience with modern cloud/native technologies
- Knowledge of software architecture and deployment strategies
- User-centric application design experience
- Emerging technology evaluation experience
