Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and transformation.
- Implement and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow between systems.
- Write and maintain SQL and T-SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of SSIS packages and database queries.
- Manage version control using tools like Git or TFS and implement deployment strategies for SSIS packages.
- Collaborate with data analysts, DBAs, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL programming.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization for SSIS and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, TFS) and deployment strategies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SSRS or SSAS for reporting and analytics.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI tools.
- Exposure to cloud-based data integration (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue).
- Understanding of data governance and security practices.
