Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake & Matillion)
Locations: Hyderabad Bangalore Pune Chennai Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion and Snowflake.
- Architect, build, and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Drive data integration from multiple on-prem and cloud sources into Snowflake.
- Implement and maintain best practices in data quality, governance, and security.
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable data-driven insights.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers on technical best practices and development standards.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Automate workflows, deployment, and testing processes using CI/CD tools.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Matillion ETL for building and orchestrating complex pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL and data transformation scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of data lake concepts, schema design, and best practices in data architecture.
- Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security frameworks.
- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
