Assignment Description:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join our team in a consultant/developer role focused on Informatica Cloud. The role operates during the APAC shift, starting at 6:30 AM IST. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in ETL tools, particularly with IDMC and PowerCenter, and must be an immediate joiner.
Main Responsibilities:
As an integral part of our migration project from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Cloud, you will:
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve ETL incidents during the night shift.
- Fix/enhance remaining evolution required after automatic migration processes.
- Facilitate and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Analyze new business needs and estimate their complexity.
- Design and implement new ETL solutions using Informatica Cloud Data Integration.
- Coordinate with the operations team for creating new data transfer flows.
- Maintain technical documentation in Confluence.
Key Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in ETL development.
- Proficiency in Informatica IDMC and PowerCenter.
- Experience with migration projects from PowerCenter to IDMC.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in challenging situations.
- Versatility and autonomy in adopting new decision-making solutions.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with BI-oriented database modeling.
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase ASE, CTRLM, Jira, and Unix.
Other Details:
This position is based in Bengaluru and requires availability for early shifts (6:30 AM IST to 3:30 PM IST, equivalent to 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM Paris time). The role is a contract position with a duration of 12 months and is offered on-site in Bengaluru, specifically at Bagmane Solarium City.
