About the Role:
We are seeking experienced ETL Developers with strong data migration expertise in insurance domain systems. The candidate will design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to migrate policy, billing, claims, and customer data from legacy systems into Duck Creek platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering.
- Strong experience with ETL tools such as: Informatica / Talend / SSIS / Ab Initio / DataStage
- Strong SQL skills (complex queries, performance tuning).
- Experience working with: Relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and Flat files, XML, JSON
- Hands-on experience in large-scale data migration projects.
- Data profiling and reconciliation expertise.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with batch processing and scheduling tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy data models and map to Duck Creek data schemas.
- Design and develop ETL workflows for large-scale data migration.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Develop reusable transformation rules aligned with Duck Creek data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, reconciliation, and audit readiness.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
- Support multiple mock conversions and production cutovers.
- Troubleshoot migration issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and Duck Creek configuration teams.
- Document data mapping, transformation logic, and migration processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit standards (SOX, etc.).
