ETL Data Stage Developer

Experience- 4 to 6 Years

Description and Location

The team is primarily involved in Basel III reporting for Counterparty Credit Risk. The team is working on upcoming changes as per the Regulatory Guidelines. The team is currently engaged with the stream of mandatory regulatory capital programs that include new Standardized Approach to CCR (SA CCR), Stress Testing (PRA/ECR/BHX/MRA) and Basel III reform.

In this role, you will:

Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable ETL Solutions using DataStage.

Optimize existing DataStage jobs for performance.

Review code changes and provide feedback to other DataStage developers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.

Troubleshoot complex issues related to DataStage jobs and data pipelines.

Maintain documentation for processes and procedures.

Work with CICD pipelines for testing, integration testing, and deployment.

Conduct code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and assist in deployment.

Work with developers in resolving issues related to code and functionality.

Support production.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

4-5 years of experience in DataStage development and administration.

Strong experience in SQL, Python/Unix, and Control M.

Good understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and system architecture.

Excellent understanding of performance tuning, monitoring, and logging practices.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
