Role: ETL & BI Developer (Mid to Senior Level)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ETL & BI Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and business intelligence solutions. The role involves working with Power BI, ETL processes, and AWS data platforms to deliver actionable insights from both structured and unstructured data sources. Experience with data lakes and AWS Athena is important, and knowledge of data warehousing concepts is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
ETL Development & Data Pipeline Management
- Develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows to process data from diverse sources into analytics-ready datasets.
- Work with AWS S3, Athena, and Data Lake environments to manage structured and unstructured data.
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize data transformations.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
BI Reporting & Visualization
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI that provide clear, actionable insights.
- Implement semantic data models, KPIs, and calculations using DAX.
- Continuously improve report usability, responsiveness, and performance.
- Assist in defining and enforcing data visualization best practices.
Data Quality & Governance Support
- Support data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of datasets.
- Document data sources, processes, and transformations.
- Collaborate with teams to maintain data governance standards.
Required Skills:
- 4–8 years of experience in ETL development and BI reporting.
- Strong skills in Power BI, including dashboard creation and DAX.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, especially AWS S3, Athena, and Data Lake architectures.
- Proficient in SQL and data transformation techniques.
- Understanding of structured and unstructured data processing.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and platforms is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to AWS Glue or similar ETL orchestration tools.
- Experience working with large-scale data sets and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools.
