Summary of the position

Professionals with Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience in Electrical System Studies using ETAP software.

Knowledge in industry sectors of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical is preferable.

Experience in load flow study, short circuit calculation, motor starting study, harmonic calculations, arc flash calculation, grounding calculation, transient stability studies,

reacceleration/restarting studies, protective relaying coordination studies.

Strong skills in single line drawings and schematics. Good knowledge of International Codes & Standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the role

• Responsible for all types of electrical calculation & Studies in ETAP software
• Prepare and review technical specifications and data sheets
• Prepare electrical equipment and material sizing calculations.
• Interact and collaborate with rest of technical disciplines involved
• To work on Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams, Control Schematics
• Ability to deal with change and demostrate flexibility as required
• Demostrate awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental issued
• Manage engineering vendors data
• Report engineering status and progress

Technical Skills

• minimum 10 years of Hands on experience and Knowledge of electrical calculation using ETAP software
• designing for electrical equipment and materials
• effective communication skills
• Understanding of other disciplines
• Able to complete tasks in accordance with project requirements
• Able to discuss routine technical problems and communicate effectively with immediate supervisor and other project personnel
• Self-motivated and quick learner
• Excellent English language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing.
