Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow Development & Customization:
  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and other modules.
  • Configure ServiceNow workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies to meet client requirements.
  • Implementation & Integration:
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and other integration tools.
  • Consulting & Solution Design:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and propose effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to junior consultants and development teams.
  • Process Optimization & Automation:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Optimize service delivery and incident management workflows.
  • Support & Documentation:
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for ServiceNow instances.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and system integrations.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / B.Sc (IT) / B.Sc (Engg.)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or related certifications are highly preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, implementation, and consulting.
  • Proven experience in leading ServiceNow projects as a Senior Consultant or Technical Lead.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, etc.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD).
  • Additional certifications like ITIL v3/v4 are a plus.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, AngularJS).
  • Proficient in ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, Orchestration, and IntegrationHub.
  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs, REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Data Sources.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ServiceNow Scripting, Service Portal Development, and Performance Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and integration with ServiceNow.
