Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator – Architectural/Civil with 3–5+ years of experience in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and bid preparation for US projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements while ensuring alignment with US construction standards, client expectations, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Review architectural and civil drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and BIM models.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs based on US construction standards.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for cost inputs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
Prepare bid proposals and tender submissions for US-based projects.
Maintain cost databases and estimation records.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with project scope, US codes/standards, and contractual requirements.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering or related field.
3–5+ years of experience in Architectural/Civil Estimation with US projects (Mandatory).
Strong knowledge of US construction materials, methods, and cost structures.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel (Advanced level preferred).
Experience in quantity take-off software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, CostX – added advantage).
