Job Title: Estimation & Inside Sales Executive (Modular Furniture & Interior Turnkey Projects)

About the Role SMK Modulars LLP is a growing manufacturing and turnkey interior execution company. We are currently losing valuable time and opportunities because our front-end quotation process is backlogged.
We are looking for a highly organized Estimation & Inside Sales Executive who loves numbers, is excellent on the phone, and hates letting a lead go cold. You will be the engine that drives our proposal process—taking raw inquiries, building accurate technical quotations, and relentlessly following up until the deal is closed or lost.
Key Responsibilities
1. Estimation & Quotation Preparation (The Priority)
- Analyze client inquiries, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and basic AutoCAD layouts to understand requirements.
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and professional quotations/proposals for turnkey interiors and modular furniture.
- Calculate material requirements (Plywood, Laminates, Hardware) and coordinate with our purchase team to ensure pricing is current.
- Ensure all quotations are submitted within a strict 24-48 hour turnaround time.
2. Inside Sales & Lead Management
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming leads and new inquiries.
- Call new leads immediately to qualify them, understand their budget, and gather the details needed for a quote.
- Manage a centralized tracker for all incoming leads and submitted quotations.
3. Relentless Follow-Up
- Conduct structured, polite, and persistent follow-up calls with clients, architects, and PMCs regarding submitted proposals.
- Keep the management team updated on the status of every quote (e.g., Client negotiating, Awaiting revised drawing, Lost to competitor).
Who You Are
- The Number Cruncher: You are highly proficient in Excel and understand how to build and format a professional quotation.
- Industry Knowledge: You have 2-4 years of experience preparing quotes specifically in the Modular Furniture, Interior Fit-out, or Building Materials industry. You know the difference between BWP/MR plywood, various laminates, and basic hardware.
- The Communicator: You are confident on the phone, speak professionally, and are not afraid to ask clients for updates or feedback on a quote.
- Highly Organized: You don't let sticky notes get lost; you use trackers and ensure no lead falls through the cracks.
