Job Title: Estimation Engineer PLC & Automation

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Estimation Engineer with experience in PLC and Industrial Automation projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and technical-commercial documents for automation projects and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimation and project budgeting for PLC, SCADA, VFD, and automation panels

Analyse tender documents, RFQs, and technical specifications

Hands-on experience with TenderGEM / GeM portal for tender submission and compliance

Prepare BOQ, BOM, and pricing based on project requirements

Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and sales teams

Vendor interaction for price comparison and techno-commercial evaluation

Support in pre-bid and post-bid activities

Ensure compliance with customer, tender, and statutory requirements

Maintain estimation records and improve cost accuracy

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in estimation for PLC & Automation projects

Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, VFD, control panels, instrumentation

Proven experience in TenderGEM / Government tendering

Good understanding of industrial standards and specifications

Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and estimation tools

Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Siemens / Schneider / Rockwell / ABB systems

Knowledge of FAT, SAT, and project costing

Exposure to marine, power, water, or process automation projects
