Estimation Engineer MECHANICAL

JOB TITLE               : Estimation Engineer - Mechanical

REPORTS TO                        : Team Leader Estimation & Proposal and Business Development Director

OBJECTIVE              : To Estimate the value of project being tendered as part of the team

QUALIFICATION     : BE Mechanical Degree with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to join our team in Kuwait

EXPERIENCE           : 1 to 3 Years; Work experience as Estimation Engineer in Oil & Gas Industry., would be preferred 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for study, design, prepare estimate related to Oil & Gas systems such as piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, pipeline etc.,

1. Preliminary Study of the Enquiry and the basic scope of supply & Concept of system
2. Detailed study of relevant documents (Technical Specifications, Scope of Supply, Exclusion, Process Datasheets, P & ID's, PFD, Plot Plan, Testing and documentation requirements).
3. Preparation of engineering deliverables/activities such as piping MTO with specification, datasheet for valves, Static/Rotating equipment MTO with datasheet etc.,
4. Sending Enquiries of Piping / Mechanical Equipment / items to sub vendors (according to client's approved vendor list)
5. Technical and commercial evaluation of sub suppliers offers for materials to insure that the received offer is in compliance with the client's specification and process requirement.
6. Responsible for the detailed cost estimate (Material, Manpower & Equipment) for Piping, Mechanical & overhead portion of the bid proposal.
7. Prepare technical offer including deviations/clarification/important notes, scope of supply & work, equipment specifications and exclusions.
8. Prepare commercial offer including price breakdown & optional prices as per client's requirement 
9. Techno & Commercial clarification with the client (After client evaluation)
10. Prepare database of the sub supplier quotation of each item / component
