Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation, with the ability to analyze project requirements and provide accurate cost forecasts. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project budgets are met and providing detailed reports on cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project scope and requirements.
• Conduct market research to identify material and labor costs.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on cost estimates for stakeholders.
• Assist in the review and analysis of project budgets and expenditures.
• Provide support during the bidding process and engage with vendors and contractors.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, and specific estimation software).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of construction processes and materials.
