Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates, tender documents, and techno-commercial proposals for HVAC projects. The candidate should have experience in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, and cost analysis for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems, including chillers, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, and piping.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare RFQs and evaluate vendor offers.
- Conduct rate analysis and cost optimization exercises.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for technical clarifications.
- Maintain estimation databases, costing sheets, and historical project records.
- Participate in client meetings and pre-bid discussions when required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including Chillers, VRF/VRV, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, and piping.
- Experience in estimation, tendering, costing, and proposal preparation.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and rate analysis.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of HVAC drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
